A very useful book to help you speak welsh to your child. - This book gives a very good selection of phrases to help you speak welsh to your child in everyday situations. It is clearly set out in sections covering different activities enabling you to quickly find phrases of use, before the moment has passed, eg when changing your baby. There are also different sections depending on the age of the child, so the Welsh you are saying to your child is relevant to their stage of learning as well as yours. It probably helps if you have a reasonable amount of Welsh before you start using this book, as you ll need to have an idea of pronounciation and intonation to make it sound like a proper sentence. The wordlist at the back of the book is very useful as it has the words in the form they appear in the book, so you don t have to search through trying to find out whether the word has been mutated or not before finding out the meaning, but also gives you the root form so you can easily look it up in a dictionary.
